The Sisters gaze, their ember eyes /
Weaving the cycles of Earth and skies /
Reminding me in silent grace /
Of inner power, and its embrace
The Sisters gaze, their ember eyes /
Weaving the cycles of Earth and skies /
Reminding me in silent grace /
Of inner power, and its embrace
Tech Tock, Tech Tock /
Let the world see how I spend my clock /
A restless QWERTY board rattles the most /
The stage is set Internet, the host
Damp newspapers lie bruised on paved driveways /
A portrait of suburbia /
Sun /
Torching skin /
Melting me into my former self
Embracing our glow / the flickering lights we show / become opening stars / as we rock to the flow
Totally wild, no apologies /
We have no control /
This is her way /
We are just visitors /
Lie & listen
I once was a child with nowhere to hide /
Facing the world, not looking to fight /
The battle began when all had seemed lost /
I had to step up, but what would it cost
For you were born when the winter sun was low /
And gave you a beautiful light /
So now you can repair with gold- /
Kintsugi style
To me poetry means everything… I think having poetry flowing through my mind, veins and body makes me look at the world differently because I can see the beauty in all the pain, sorrow and heartbreak
The only way through is to fully acknowledge your pain /
To love yourself unconditionally /
No matter what you've said and done /
And remember that forgiveness is available to everyone.
While snowdrops bloom /
In my wake; and buds burst forth on tender shoots /
From mother’s womb/
Awaiting tenderness
I question am I the only one? /
With an unkind mosquito mind
I don't remember a time when I didn't write. My dad would always make up games, stories, songs and poems, he could create magic with words and I fell in love with how different words sounded and rhymes felt. He could transport us to somewhere different with the stories he created and I knew I wanted to offer this to people too someday.
