Cacao Reviews
“My favourite cacao is Spirit of Borneo, but I love each and every one of their amazing cacaos. Cacao, this beautiful medicine, and spirit helped me become my true self, helped me reclaim the person I wanted to be but wasn’t allowed to be. Mama cacao helped me to embrace every facets of myself and love who I am and who I’m becoming. I prepare my cacao with first of all, intentions. And gratitude. Recipes may varies, but the intentions and love and gratitude are always present. Drinking this beautiful medicine is special, but for me, the preparing it, the making it is even more important.”

“Saoro is truly in a league of its own when it comes to cacao. I was gifted a bar of Borneo, and the moment I got it home and opened it, I knew it was something special. From the deluxe gold packaging to the instant you open it and the aroma smacks you up the face like a warm chocolate kiss, it's an experience like no other. You can literally feel the spiritual energy emanating from the bar. My favourite at the moment is Tiger, with Borneo as a close second. It's been said that having a cup of cacao is like a hug in a mug, and there's no better way to describe it. Each mouthful feels like coming home.”

“For me it's between borneo and wildchild!! The Borneo is so smooth and calming allowing me to gently look inwards but the wildchild allows me to ignite that inner child and let her be free! I prep mine by chopping what i need, heating either water or coconut milk in a pot adding the Cacao to make a paste and then adding the rest of the liquid once the Cacao has melted!”

“Saoró cacao is pure luxury. The entire experience feels like a self-care ritual, from the moment you open the gold packaging until you are sitting down with a cup in your hands. Saoró partners with Balinese chocolatiers, and you can really taste the craftsmanship. As a self-aware chocolate addict, their cacao completely satisfies that craving and some! It gives me a boost of energy and helps uplift my mood. I’ve tried all their blends, but Borneo is hands-down my favourite—it’s the smoothest and most comforting in my opinion. I like to make mine with almond milk, cinnamon, and honey. It’s the perfect coffee replacement and a daily treat I genuinely look forward to.”

“I have had so much fun experimenting with all of the beautiful varieties in the Saoro range, my favourites at the moment are borneo and wildchild. Ohh I cannot leave out the Sumatra Tiger also….its just too hard to choose as all are just so beautiful. I make mine with half water, half almond milk with a pinch of turmeric and sprinkle of cinnamon with a dash of honey” - Sinead King “I think Saoro Cacao is beautiful as it is :-) no honey or coconut milk needed. Let the natural beauty of the drink to come out”

“I like Tiger and Borneo. There is a smoothness and luxuriousness with Saoro cacao that I haven’t experienced with other brands. I like to make mine with water, oat milk, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and maple syrup.
It makes me feel relaxed, more open, reflective and more compassionate with myself. I love how it brings me more into the present moment.”
