Tiger of Sumatra Cacao

Saoró Tiger of Sumatra is produced from the Forastero Cacao bean. It’s deep, rich, earthy notes reflect the fertile volcanic soil of Sumatra. The texture is both smooth and luxurious and is profoundly satisfying! This sacred Cacao carries the powerful energies of its rainforest origins and the fire of its volcanic earth. Tiger of Sumatra is vibrant and grounding in equal measure.

We are humbled and grateful that this Cacao is rooted in the land of Sumatra and privileged to support the Sumatra Tiger Project.

Recently I’ve had the pleasure of trying Saoro’s Tiger of Sumatra ceremonial cacao, and it’s truly a transformative, powerful and unique experience.

Initatlly I was a little doubtful that Saoro could bring another cacao which could stand on its own given that this is a ever expanding market. But they’ve done it again.

From the very first sip, the cacao’s earthy and slightly spicy notes create a grounding effect that I find incredibly soothing, especially in the evening when I’m looking to unwind.

What sets this cacao apart is its rich, full-bodied texture and the gentle energy it imparts – perfect for meditative practices or just creating a calm moment in a busy day.

I deeply appreciate Saoro’s dedication to quality and sustainability, knowing that each cup not only nourishes me but also supports ethical sourcing. This product is also very exciting as it’s giving back, a precentage of the sale cost goes back to the tigers.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to incorporate ceremonial cacao into their wellness routine.

    Much love Siân

I had a deep connection with the ceremonial Sumatra Cacao and absolutely loved its rich flavor. The cacao has a stronger, more chocolatey taste, with a beautiful and bold smoky undertone. I highly recommend it and plan to incorporate this cacao into my events.
Thanking the Saoro team for another amazing Cacao. 🤎
