An evening to connect, with the land, with nature, with your inner self and with like minded souls. Like our ancestors commune by the glow of the fire and reignite our ancient love for the land and ourselves. Learn skills that will will enable you become more self sufficient and feel the empowerment of reclaiming the wisdom to survive in nature.
Course timetable
Arrival 11am
Welcome, Intros, familiarisation of the woodland! Safety brief
Shelter – We will be setting up our sleeping areas for the course, learning where and how as well as some useful knots. Fire – Considered one of the most useful bushcraft skills, you will learn how to create your own campfire using non modern methods. Forage – Learn what in Nature we can use for food, medicine and usefulness. We will be collecting for medicinal teas and maybe to add to the evening meal.
Dinner– Dinner is provided in the form of a campfire cooked meal. This is very much a communal session where everyone gets involved. Carving – The perfect around the camp fire activity. Carve your own spoon or more to take home!
Day 2 Morning – wake to the sounds and smells of the morning woodland.
Mind and body – Shinrin You session (Forest bathing) , meditation and mindfulness session. Departure 11am
