Meet Saoirse McLoughlan

“Hi, I’m Saoirse, I am a designer from Galway and am so proud to have designed the packaging and marketing materials of the Premier Cru Barista Cacao for the wonderful Saoró team. I studied Industrial Design in Dublin before moving to London, where I joined Cath Kidston designing homeware collections.

My job there was the perfect mix of creativity and practicality, bringing new products to life while working with the brand’s iconic prints. One of my favourite projects was the Snoopy x Cath Kidston collection, which went on to win Best Giftware Range at the UK Licensing Awards in 2021 and sold out online in just two days, a real pinch-me moment!

When Covid hit 5 years ago, I moved back home to Ireland and began working with a Galway-based creative agency called Little & Large, where I’m now Lead Creative. My work there covers everything from branding and packaging design to websites, advertising, photoshoots, and video. Basically, anything that helps tell a brand’s story beautifully and meaningfully. I feel really lucky to work with such kind, talented colleagues who are so passionate about our work and our clients and so lucky to work with brands who trust us to help bring their ideas and dreams to life.

I’ve lived in London, Malta, and even Hong Kong for a short while, and I love how new places and experiences always spark fresh ideas. Outside of my work, you’ll usually find me painting watercolours, playing tennis, spending time by the sea, or treating myself to an overly fancy dinner with a very nice glass of wine somewhere new (my favourite little indulgence)!”
