Saoro is proud to be a Green Supporter of the International Tiger Project donating €4 from the sale of every Sumatra Ceremonial Cacao Bar to support conservation and protection projects to save the Critically Endangered Sumatran tiger and its habitat.

Formed in 1998, the mission of the International Tiger Project is: to ensure the survival of all tiger species in their natural habitat and promote the welfare of all tigers.

The projects funded by the International Tiger Project not only include direct tiger conservation – such as rescue and release programs – but also forest habitat protection and regeneration, education, research and local community partnerships.
By addressing the holistic problems facing remaining fragmented tiger populations, the International Tiger Project is fighting deforestation and habitat loss at the highest level.
