Irena, born in Yogyakarta in 1987, watched her father, an artist himself, make beautiful batik and oil paintings. He inspired her to become an artist. Starting from an early age making pencil drawings and sketches, she started to explore other media in 2019. She loves to express her feelings through her paintings and artwork in minute details. 

In 2020 she joined the JIWI _ Japan International Watercolour Institute online exhibition, in 202 she joined IWCS “We all connected” exhibition in Komaneka Keramas, Bali.

Currently she is an active member of Kolcai Bali, IDSBA – Indonesian Society of Botanical Artist, IWS – International Watercolor Society Indonesia and Urban Sketcher Bali.
