Barista Style Cacao Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plant-based milk or water
  • 20g Saoró Barista Cacao powder (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavour.

Instructions

  • Pour the plant-based milk or water into a small saucepan and begin to heat.
  • Add the Saoró cacao and sweetener.
  • Warm the mixture over low to medium heat, stirring to prevent the cacao from burning and to help the cacao and sweetener dissolve smoothly.
  • Use a whisk or a frother to whisk the mixture until it’s well combined and slightly frothy.
  • Once heated to your desired temperature (do not boil), pour into a mug and enjoy!
